San Diego Spring Break Camp 2014
2014 Spring Break Beach Volleyball Camp
April 11th-13th in San Diego, CA
BeachDig is proud of it's reputation as a top beach volleyball training program. Players travel from across the country and beyond to take part in our unique, game changing events.
Some of you attended our College Sand Volleyball Recruiting Camp in July, or our recent Holiday Camp in December, which were both a HUGE success! Through our camps, clubs and recruiting website, we have already helped 35+ athletes from across the country, get scholarships to play sand volleyball in college.
Since we wrapped up our Holiday camp just a few weeks ago, we've been getting so many emails from excited players and parents asking for the information on our Sring Break Camp. Here it is...
Not just a generic skills and drills camp...
At BeachDig, we pride ourselves in having the top coaching staff in the country. Together we design a camp itinerary that includes game-like drills, competitions and important breakout sessions where we talk about and teach the strategies of the game. We teach, correct, evaluate and we expect our players to take notes. It's required. We also include personal development exercises in every camp, because we know that success is more than just having the skills. This is a very intensive 3 days of training that you will need to be both physically and mentally prepared for.
Katelyn Rawls - 2013 Sand Volleyball Scholarship to Georgia State University
"Great news about the spring camp. I was telling my mom (jokingly) that I would skip school for it! The christmas camp was soo awesome!! I still cant believe that in the matter of 4 days all the stuff I learned and was actually able to apply it! Best camp I have ever been too!! :)
Looking forward to the spring break one!" ~ Katelyn Rawls
Kayla Snyder - New Jersey
"Hey, I just got home from the Holiday Beach camp and I just wanted to say thanks to all the coaches! This was by far the best camp I've been to and I can't wait to take all the skills I learned and apply them to my game. It was well worth the 36 hours round trip I spent in the car.
Already siked for the Spring Break Camp!" - Kayla Snyder

Who can attend:
This camp is open both boys and girls. Only high level players, meaning only experienced players age 14-26 should sign up for the morning camp. These players MUST have at least 2 years of beach experience as well as at least 4 years of indoor experience. This session is for players who are truly interested in taking their game to the next level, learning some of the more advanced strategies, competing at a higher level or even playing sand volleyball in college and beyond. Although BeachDig Camps are always "fun", this will be an intense 3 days of training where only the strong will survive!!
The afternoon session is for players aged 13 and under who may have some volleyball experience, but are not yet advanced beach players. This camp will focus more on developing the fundamentals and learning the basic strategies and differences in the beach game. If you are still new to the indoor or beach game then this is the camp for you. No matter which session you belong in, you can trust that we will create a camp plan that will be tailored to your needs and will challenge you at every level. If you have any questions or doubts as to which camp is right for you, please email us before registering: firstname.lastname@example.org
Travel and Accomodations:
The closest airport, and the one we suggest you fly into, is San Diego (SAN) This airport is about 20 minutes away from the camp location. There are several hotels in the area to choose from, all ranging in quality and price. You will definitely pay more to stay near the baech. What we suggest is that you do a search on Hotels.com for hotels in this area. That's where we always find the best deals. The camp will be held on South Mission Beach which is all the way at the south end of Mission Blvd. You can google "south mission beach" to see the exact location. Right next to that (just north) is Pacific Beach. This will allow you to search hotels in these areas and see how far they are from the camp.
Parking is FREE! There is a huge beach parking lot with free parking right next to the court. There are times on the weekends though when this lot can get pretty full.
