Club BeachDig San Diego

San Diego's club program consists of 2 practices per week for May, June and July.  These 4 week sessions will allow players of all ages and skill levels to participate in valuable training at an affordable cost, and on a regular schedule.  Players can sign up for the whole program at a discounted rate, or for one 4 week session at a time.  Your membership will also include coaching at one CBVA Juniors tournament per session, any interclub competitions, as well as local challenges with other clubs that take place during your session.

For those teams who are hardcore and would like compete in tournaments, you can add our "Performance Package" to any camp series.  The "Performance Package" will include coaching at the tournament that coincides with that particular camp series.  (see tournament schedule below)  Having a BeachDig coach with you while you compete is a huge advantage and learning opportunity, and we're happy to help those of you who want to take on this challenge.   This package includes the coaching, but not the entry fee for the tournament.

Each player that registers for the club will get an official BeachDig club t-shirt, uniform top for tournaments and a BeachDig water bottle.

2013 Club BeachDig Dates and Prices

Session 1:  May 13 - June 7  2 Days per week 13 and under:  4:00p - 6:00p (Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays) 14-16's:  4:00p - 6:00p (Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays) 17 and up:  3:30pm-5:30pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays)   Cost = $200

Session 2:  June 10  - July 5  2 days per week (TBD) 4:00p - 6:00p or 6:00p - 8:00p Cost = $225 Includes coaching at tournament June 30th - Ocean Beach (tournament registration fees not included)

Session 3:  July 8  - Aug 2  2 Days per Week (TBD) 4:00p - 6:00p or 6:00p - 8:00p Includes coaching at tournament: July 28th  - Ocean Beach (tournament registration fees not included)

Club Age Divisions and Practice Groups:

Newbies:  players age 13 and under who are new to volleyball with less than 1 yr experience

Intermediate:  age 14-16 with at least 2 years of indoor experience

Advanced:  ages 17-21 very experienced indoor and beach players who want to compete and play at the next level.

Players will be evaluated based on age and skill level and placed in the appropriate practice group.  Groups will be formed so that each player will get the maximum benefit from the training and it can be specific to their skill level and experience. More weight is put on skill level than age, as there are some young players with exceptional skill as well as some older beginners.
 

 Club BeachDig San Diego 2013 Tournaments

Tournament registration fees are NOT included in your fees.  We can help you prepare for the tournaments that you wish to play in, and we encrouage you to play in as many events as you like.   If you would like to train as a team and compete in the events, a BeachDig coach will be there to support and guide you at the designated tournament in your club session.  If you would like coaching at additional tournaments that can be purchased separately.

Here are some of the local tournaments that we suggest you try to compete in.  Each of the events below coincide with one of our club sessions, so that at the end of each 4 week session, there is a tournament you can compete in if you choose.
